Ijeoma Nwakuche is a results-driven executive with nearly two decades of cross-sector experience across the energy, consulting, and maritime industries. Having held pivotal roles at TotalEnergies and Clarkson Shipbrokers, she has built a reputation for excellence in strategic advisory, business transformation, and sector-specific innovation.
She currently serves as Managing Partner at MML Consulting, a boutique advisory firm focused on energy transition, human capital optimisation, and enterprise strategy for organisations across Oil & Gas, Power, Marine, and Aviation.
In her most recent venture, Ijeoma leads as CEO of Fundery Africa, a commercial advisory and project development company focused on gas, power, and industrial investment opportunities across Sub-Saharan Africa. Through Fundery, she is actively driving gas commercialization and infrastructure projects, with investment interests in Gasavant, a sister company in which Fundery holds equity. Her leadership at Fundery positions her at the forefront of energy investment strategies critical to Africa’s economic transformation.
Beyond the boardroom, Ijeoma is the founder of The Purple Orchid, a values-driven coaching institute equipping young female professionals to become ‘referral-worthy’ contributors in the workplace. She is also a regular contributor at high-impact platforms such as the Nigerian National Assembly and Harvard Business School (Online), where she champions local content development and women’s advancement.
Ijeoma holds a BSc in Geology from the University of Port Harcourt, executive certifications from Harvard Business School, and an Executive MBA from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
